• Explorer Dome science show comes to St. Peter's for children aged from 7 - 14 years 2.00pm – 4.00pm.  Registration forms available now at the back of the Church.  More details can be found at www.explorerdome.co.uk 

  Session 1 - Creation

  Timeless tales in the magical atmosphere of Explorer Dome.  An introduction to Faith through the sights and sounds of the creation stories.  How did the world begin and where are we from?  Ultimate questions and answers.

  Session 2 - Light

  An investigation into God’s gift of light and colour.  What light is, where it comes from, how it travels and how we see.  Mirrors, prisms and lenses; reflection, refraction and colour mixing.  An enlightening display of effects and experiments inside the darkened Dome.  Light and dark, shadows and rainbows and why not to be afraid of the dark.

  Session 3 - Earth

  The dynamic nature of Earth.  From plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes and the water cycle, to the beginnings and evolution of life.  An evolving planet: its turbulent past, the biodiversity of the present and the role we are to play in the future.  The fragile balance between humanity and the environment today.

  Arrangements are being made for a conducted tour of Redcliffe Caves, Bristol by the Men's Group on Monday November 10th 2008 starting at 7.30pm.  Put this date in your diary and Watch This Space.

Sunday Club

Sunday Club is for children age 3+ and is held each Sunday in the Church Hall, the children then come into Church during Communion.

Pilot Group

Pilot Group is for young people from 'year 5' upwards who also meet at the Church Hall on Sunday mornings, to take part in a range of Christian activities, discussion groups, outings, social and sports activities.

Mother's Union

Mother's Union meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 2.00pm in the Church Hall.  The Mother's Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the 'well-being' of families worldwide.  Everyone is welcome both ladies and gentlemen.

Wife's Group

A group of ladies of all ages meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7.30pm in the Church hall for friendship, talks, demonstrations and the occasional outing and meal.  Please come and join us.

Open House

As the name suggests this is open to everyone each Tuesday morning from 9.30am - 11.00am in the Church Hall.  Just call in for a coffee and a natter - you will be made most welcome.

Men's Group

Informal group formed for men in the Church to 'get together' now and again on trips to local places of interest.  Visits so far include Smiles Brewery, RAC Building, 'Behind the Scenes' at the Industrial Museum, Bristol Records Office and Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust.
